The School of Tomorrow has begun its activities in December 12th, 2001, and establish in 2002, in partnership with the School of Tomorrow in Dallas. The School of Tomorrow is present in 132 countries since 1970, and since 1998 has been partner with the School of the Future from São Paulo.
The School of Tomorrow has a Learning Center equipped with didactic materials imported from School of Tomorrow from Dallas, and has certified teachers in English language.
The School of Tomorrow began its pedagogical project with the desire to act in the forefront of thinking about student education in Brazil.
The pedagogical proposal beyond attend students from NurserbLOCK and Children Education, and has increased school attendance through the Elementary School I (1st to 5th grade) and Basic Education II (6th to 9th grade), implementing day by day the solid conceptual education basis through a transdisciplinary approach, which take priority to a bilingual project that differentiates the knowledge in the different areas.
In the pedagogical project our goal is the formation of a worship student, responsible, ethic, capable of doing the best choices in life overcoming the challenges of the contemporary world.
The science is explored at school through laboratories from robotics course, workshops, about environmental education (vegetable-garden and animals vivarium) and informatics.
The art has an important role in our students formation, which is constantly emphasized in our curriculum by the theater, tap, music, sculpture, painting and circus workshops.
The humanities disciplines integrate the curriculum in order to offer subsidies to think and act in a balanced way. In the course of updates and workshop of reading/writing the knowledge projects are structured to made an ethic and autonomous citizen.
The care of the mind and body offer to the students an additional complement to a health- life through classes about culinary art, judo, soccer and chess, where the championships proposed cause the students a hard desire to overcome the challenges.
We have a meticulous attention to the pedagogical project, and because of that we bring something innovative and comprehensive to the formation of a citizen student.
Shared by all educators who works in the pedagogical functions and by professionals that give support to the high quality education, the educational activities proposed has been proposed in a reflexive environmental, which the record is present and added to the continuous exercise to developing of democratic cohabit, supported in dialogue, solidarity and respect.
The citizenship actions are amplifying beyond the limits of the Ribeirão Preto city. Actually the School of Tomorrow become a reference Center as a construction space of didactic knowledge and their professionals provide courses for formation and capacitating of other educational professionals.
