Emancipatory educational projects

Our project is innovative and aims at training the student citizen, where it will learn to overcome challenges and make decisions.

1) Transdisciplinary Method: "Transdisciplinarity as the prefix trans concerns what is at once between disciplines, across disciplines and beyond all discipline." Basarab Nicolescu (2005, p. 15).

Thus, we give our students the opportunity to build their own concepts, guiding through projects that go beyond content and value the knowledge in its various forms. So, when confronted with this method the student produces different meanings for the same object, deepening their own knowledge giving answers and asking questions consistent with most current theoretical, cultural and contemporary, also expanding its dialogue between the disciplines.

Nicolescu, Basarab. Education and transdisciplinarity. Brasília: Ed UNESCO Brazil, 2000/2005.

2) Fair and Theme Events: Our special events and fairs are our policy based on an emancipatory project which would encourage the construction of knowledge which encompasses reading, historical knowledge, scientific knowledge, expression, communication, culture, news, the logical and scientific.

So our proposal is developed and grounded in current affairs, leading the student to reflect on the various forms of language, bringing all theory worked in the classroom to a practical applicability.

3) News and Geopolitics: Geopolitics and updates are defined as areas of geography and one of the goals are the interpretation of current events / history and political development of countries worldwide, thus between a fact and interpretation students can understand and explain the global conflict, globalization, natural resources, scientific and energy in the world, and understand their rights and social duties, acting as concerned citizens and innovative.

4) Environmental Design: The indiscriminate use of natural resources is one of the concerns of our school, especially the green area that we have the nutritional support of this project with the garden / gardening thus reinforce the work with the 4Rs which recycle, reuse, reduce and reuse is a priority.

Our project encourages each student to have their own mug, avoiding the unnecessary use of plastic cups, and work hygiene, care and responsibility with the belongings of each.

We encourage our students to an ecological vision, in which, preserving the environment is fundamental.

We emphasize sustainable development, raising awareness of the transformation of materials, waste collection, and also suggest the reduction of substances bad for our environment.
